NYCPC RETURNS TO HEART OF MANHATTAN WITH ASTOUNDING VENUE, TOP QUALITY GAMES!
NYC Pinball Championships will now be held in Chelsea with tournament-tested games, lower price.
(New York, NY) - In a move to improve the NYCPC player experience, provide a more central location, and aid in the acquisition of higher-quality tournament games, Never Beef Productions is changing venues, and has secured an amazing new tournament space for the New York City Pinball Championships 2023; the Stern Pro Circuit event pinball tournament is returning to its Manhattan roots and will now be held at the West Side Pinball Pop Up at 525 West 26th street in Chelsea, Manhattan. The new venue is over 10,000 square feet with multiple floors, terraces, and a massive outdoor patio. The space can accommodate up to 500 people. The event space was formerly used as a high-end luxury gym, but come this fall, it will be the site of high-end pinball competition!
Chelsea is Manhattan’s art district. The NYC Pinball Championships are nestled between dozens of art galleries, the world-famous High Line park, Chelsea Market (with dozens of restaurants and retail stores), and the Chelsea Piers complex with sports, bars, and restaurants. Countless locations for sit-down or carry out eating options - Diners, Chinese, Ramen, Italian, pizza take outs, bodega markets, and more - are available within a few blocks walking radius of the venue. Penn Station - easily accessible from New Jersey and all five NYC boroughs - is a 20 minute walk away, or a few minutes by bike or cab. The excitement of Broadway and Times Square, Madison Square Garden, the Hudson River path and the Intrepid museum are all nearby, and all of NYC’s top tourist destinations are within close reach of the West Side Pinball Pop Up.
The change of venue also brings notable improvements for players; Never Beef Productions has been able to reduce the registration price by $40, and, due to the close proximity to Crazy Levi’s Pinball store and Funtorium, over a dozen tournament-ready, top quality machines from all eras have been secured from this collection for the tournament. We are also excited to announce our partnership for NYCPC with Barcade, the NYC-area's premier classic arcade and pinball chain. This partnership means that a number of high-quality machines from the Barcade collection will be on hand for NYCPC.
The new NYCPC 2023 advance registration price is $195, and $40 refunds for all existing ticket buyers will be refunded via Eventbrite to their original payment method within a week of this announcement (please wait until July 13 to reach out to us if you haven’t received your $40 refund). All buyers have the option of a 100 percent refund until July 13, after that the original refund policy applies.
Thanks to the central location of the Pinball Pop Up, players can keep their existing hotel rooms in Brooklyn, or may decide to choose new accommodations in Manhattan, New Jersey, or any other surrounding area. Players can stay in Jersey anywhere near a NJ Transit or PATH train station, with easy transportation via car or public transit to Penn Station/34th st. Herald Square. The closest NYC Subway stations are Penn Station/34th st. Herald Square (N/Q/R/W/B/D/F/M), 28th st. N/R, 23rd st. 1/2/3, and 23rd st C/E stations.
