With 2024 marking it’s fifth year, the New York City Pinball Championships were created to return world-class championship pinball to the Big Apple for the first time since the 1990s, delivering on the promise to bring the greatest players on Earth to the Big Apple for historic, top-level competition.
Located in the center of the greatest city on Earth within walking distance of dozens of the world’s most popular tourist attractions, NYCPC is more than just a pinball tournament – it’s a vacation, pinball gaming convention, and a world-class sporting event tied together into one unforgettable package. NYCPC, the Empire State Building, the storied theaters of Broadway, the museums, the Coney Island Cyclone, the Yankees; NYC is the home to some of the world’s greatest attractions, and we are proud to be a part of the city’s cultural fabric.
The tournament has proven an instant success, drawing over 150 players from around the globe to the inaugural edition in 2018, and nearly doubling in size in 2019. The tournament returned in 2022 to great success and even more participants. Thousands of eSports fans from around the world tune in to watch the action via live stream annually. Big-time competitive pinball is back in a big way in the Big Apple.
In this short time, NYCPC has turned into one of the most popular and highest WPPR-valued (pinball ranking points) tournaments in the United States.
NYCPC has something for every fan of the silver ball, and players of all skill levels.
In 2019, the New York City Council recognized NYCPC with a special citation.

The New York City Pinball Championships delivers 3 spectacular tournaments, the Main Stern Pro Circuit + B Division + Novice NYCPC Championship, Classics, and the Dahlia Rowan Memorial Women’s Championship.
