The NYCPC 2023 Stern Pro Circuit Main Tournament will decide the 2023 New York City Pinball Champion, open to players of all skill levels and ages, on games ranging across all eras of pinball machine. During qualifying on Friday and Saturday players purchase tickets to play individual games on the tournament machines. Players may purchase as many tickets as they like. Each player's best score on each machine in their division of play is tracked and those scores are ranked against all of the other competitor's scores on that machine. Players then receive an aggregate of their machine rankings on their best 10 games to determine their overall qualifying position in their division. At the end of qualifying Saturday, Open division will have 40 qualifiers, plus an additional 24 qualifiers in B division, plus an additional 8 qualifiers in Novice Division. Finals will start Saturday, October 14th and will continue through Sunday October 15th.
Classics Division

The NYCPC 2023 Classics Championship is open to players of all skill levels and ages, and is played on “classic” era games - electromechanical machines from the 1960s and 1970s, and early digital machines from the 1970s - early 1980s. During qualifying on Friday and Saturday players purchase tickets to play individual games on the tournament machines. Players may purchase as many tickets as they like. Each player's best score on each machine in their division of play is tracked and those scores are ranked against all of the other competitor's scores on that machine. Players then receive an aggregate of their machine rankings on their best 6 games to determine their overall qualifying position in their division. At the end of qualifying Saturday, 32 qualifiers will earn the opportunity to play in finals on Saturday evening, October 14th.
Dahlia Rowan Memorial Women’s Division
The NYCPC 2023 Dahlia Rowan Memorial Championship is open to women players of all skill levels and ages on mixed-era machines. During qualifying on Friday and Saturday players purchase tickets to play individual games on the tournament machines. Players may purchase as many tickets as they like. Each player's best score on each machine in their division of play is tracked and those scores are ranked against all of the other competitor's scores on that machine. Players then receive an aggregate of their machine rankings on their best 5 games to determine their overall qualifying position in their division. At the end of qualifying Saturday, 16 qualifiers will earn the opportunity to play in finals on Saturday evening, October 14th.
